As a Scouting Young Leader, he is used to helping younger people build confidence at their own pace. He is Enhanced DBS checked and a Tutor Association member.
Focused sessions that start with what your child needs now.
Dedicated attention for one pupil, with the pace and explanation matched to them.
Choose online tutoring or an in-person session, depending on what works best for your family.
Sessions are planned around current understanding, schoolwork and the areas causing difficulty.
Help with difficult topics, revision, practice questions and exam technique.
Maths and science for ages 9 to 16, matched to what your child is doing at school right now.
Aiden achieved grade 9s in maths, further maths and physics; grade 8s in chemistry and biology; and grade 7 with Distinction in English. He has been through today's GCSE papers himself, so lessons match current courses and question styles.
Every topic gets more than one route: diagrams, worked examples, real-life comparisons, smaller steps. If one way does not click, we try another until your child can do it without help. That is where confidence comes from.
| Current 9–1 scale | Previous A*–G scale |
|---|---|
| 9–7 | A*–A |
| 6–4 | B–C |
| 3–1 | D–G |
The scales are not directly equivalent; comparable anchor points are 7/A, 4/C and 1/G.
Three steps, repeated until things click.
We start with classwork, recent tests and the topics causing stress, so lessons target what actually needs fixing.
Worked examples, quick checks and short practice, so new ideas stick before we move on.
Mistakes become useful rather than embarrassing, and revision becomes a routine instead of a panic.
The goal is simple: less stuck, more prepared, more willing to try.
